b1 We are always looking for more people to join Local 1310. To become a member, you must meet the following guidelines:

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Complete Program Application
  • Obtain a letter of intent from a Union Flooring Contractor
  • Pass a Drug Screening

b1 We have an experienced team who negotiates your contract to keep wages and fringe benefits in line with the cost of living. In our last Floor Layer Agreement, a $1.25 per hour increase, per year, was negotiated.

b1Our 50+ member Executive Board of Business Agents works in the field every day policing jobs to enforce our Collective Bargaining Agreements and working to insure that all members' rights are protected.

b1 Our Jurisdiction Department works full-time to ensure that you work the maximum number of hours on each job.
