Apprentice Program

70% of the training is hands-on.

There are a total of 240 Blocks, and you must choose 60 tasks...15 from each craft.

Apprentices will learn the basics in the four key floor and wall covering crafts: Carpet, Ceramic Tile, Hardwood, and Resilient floorings.

The Floor Layers' Training School will then customize course of study for the apprentice. Example...You own a ceramic tile store, the apprentice will learn about Carpet, Hardwood, Resilient floorings, but Ceramic Tile will be the emphasis for that apprentice.

We also offer journey-level training. This allows people to work during the week, and still attend classes at night or on weekends.
